Meet our competition winner: Kenni Witt

On 11 October Kenni Witt was told he had won a digital prize kit for his business. Digital Boost Alliance members had come together tooffer prizesincluding a Spark laptop, a Vodafone connectivity package, a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office Premium and Xero, an office desk, chair and monitor from The Warehouse Group, a RocketSpark subscription, a session with CEO Frances Valentine, a ticket to the NZ SME&E Festival, and an NZME-spend media package valued at $15,000 to top it off.  

Kenni has just started out on his business journey, having started a real estate company in Whangarei just months ago. He said it felt surreal when he was announced as the winner and was surprised to receive the phone call as he’d forgotten all about the competition. 

Kenni is still figuring out how to best use the digital package to further his company but thinks it will really help to put him on the map. “It will make a significant difference in the start-up of my business and make people aware of who I am.”

A new user of Digital Boost, Kenni found the platform when looking to learn more about digital marketing. He recently signed up to the Digital Facilitation Scheme and is about to attend his first session. The Facebook group and weekly emails are a highlight for Kenni who said the support he’s received since joining has been great. 

“I’m really looking forward to getting started and learning the ins and outs of online marketing.”
