In 2019 Westpac became New Zealand’s first bank and largest corporate organisation to become an accredited Living Wage Employer.
Gender equality and climate change
Westpac strongly advocates the need for greater gender equality in leadership and the case for taking early action on climate change. In 2020 they became the first Toitū carbonzero certified bank in New Zealand
