Digital Boost Alliance Commitment
Through BNZ's support for New Zealand businesses and the economy, and their strong relationships in communities around the country, they will help lift digital skills and promote digital transformation to improve inclusion, wellbeing and productivity in Aotearoa New Zealand. BNZ is committed to offering the following support as part of the Digital Boost Alliance Initiative:
Web content accessibility : Ensuring that basic online banking services meet accessibility needs (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0) for the BNZ website and personal banking channels by the end of 2023.
Vulnerable circumstances : Supporting customers in vulnerable circumstances (such as victims of domestic abuse) by providing support to use digital channels.
Face-to-face digital skills training: Providing $600,000 to support face-to-face digital skills training for customers and the community in consultation with Digital Inclusion Coalition Aotearoa (DECA)
